Farmers Fighting Hunger
Even in the land of the plenty, there are more than 50 million Americans who do not have constant access to enough food for an active, healthy lifestyle, meaning that they are food insecure.
What we’re doing about it
America’s cattle farmers and ranchers are committed to helping fight hunger by using fewer natural resources to provide a growing population with an affordable supply of great tasting, nutritious beef. Compared to 50 years ago, there are half as many farmers and ranchers today feeding a United States population that has more than doubled.
Additionally, cattle farmers and ranchers work in their own backyards to help support local communities and economies, as well as work with their local food banks to help feed those who need it most.
